As this unit developed,
I built a basic kit of materials that now travels for use by other
teachers in my building. It contains project samples and ideas
for activities as well as simple tools for experimentation in all
three areas of energy study.
While all of the tools
are simple ones, the program's success increased if my students
were familiar and comfortable with how each tool worked before
we tried using them to make scientific observations.
The following list contains
the items that travel with the kit. I used additional items to
